The Town of Drexel operates under the council-manager form of government. Four Aldermen are elected at large on a non-partisan basis to staggered four year terms. The mayor is elected at large on a non-partisan basis for a two-year term. A professional manager is employed to administer the operation of the town, while three department heads assist the Manager.
